Red Sonja PF!!

Aaargh, I dont know what to do lol... since my waitlist won't convert I'm uber tempted to take a $380 discount off of the new Blitzway Bruce Lee statue

I feel a little like Kulan Gath sacrificing Sonja... but I imagine all the regs will be hangin around on ebay for some time to come if I decide later

Check the peg hole for debris. Dremel or 'pointy thing' might help.

There was nothing in the hole, it was just a tight fit. I filed it out a little and she now seats perfectly. ( I believe that's the first time I've complained about a hole on a women begin too tight!) She's a 100% now.

So she's made her way to Australia and now in hand I have to say she's all kinds of 'teh' awesome.

There's a lot of amazing details in things like the base, her hair, etc. Most everything is very well done. There's some slop where the skin tone meets other colours, but that just seems to be the norm these days. Not acceptable, but still the norm.

I have no problems with the skin tone. Yeah, she's darker than solicited, but as I mentioned she's from what is now modern day Iran so the darker flesh is not a problem for me.

My main point of note though is that the body and head were either painted by two different people who didn't discuss it first or by the same assclown who just doesn't care because the tones above and below her necklace are different. It's not immediately noticeable, but I shot the pics under a few different lighting conditions until I thought I captured it.

Am I keeping mine? Hells to the yeah!! Can't wait for Conan to go with her.

Yes you are right about that, I can see it in the pictures. I will take a good look at mine today and take some pictures. So far so good from what I can see but I need proper light.

Yeah, it's obviously noticable but not an issue for me personally.
Most women wear foundation on their face to make it look darker, more tanned, than their body.
Who said warriors can't be vain?

Finally had the chance to unbox Sonya last night, and man did she come out looking great! I received #744. She standing tall next to my Fury of the Beast diorama, and I cant wait for Conan Rage to go on the other side! I'll also be keeping an eye on that ARH Huntress. Her and those sabertooths are looking incredible

I really think the 2 statues will complement each other really well

Machiko is definitely a hell of a statue but I think Arhian fits better to RS.

Arhian is nice, but Machiko looks similar to Red in that you can tell she's a Sideshow statue as opposed to another comoanie's license. The styles are similar and they're both Badass Bs
