    Star Wars: The Acolyte

    It was quite a finale.

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

You'd think waxing alternatives would be widely available post-apocalypse so not a reason to stay in one place for so long. :dunno Though still haven't seen this yet, so can't judge context of this comment.

Neither is Hollywood. Well, until recently. :rotfl

    Beetlejuice 2

Interestingly, he was caught due to leads gained in the Paul Reubens investigation. Everything full circle back to Tim Burton (Reubens was the one who gave Burton his big break).:lol

    Beetlejuice 2

I remember being saddened seeing Tim Burton on the WB lot in the 90s driving the same generic black Range Rover as every off-the-shelf senior VP. I expected - I dunno - some cool, vintage or at least interesting car. Like what Seinfeld would choose for Burton if he was on Comedians in Cars.

No Jeffrey Jones this time out? :dunno :monkey3

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

That pretty much depicts Australia culturally 40 years later though. :dunno:rotfl Peter Garrett's entertainer-era sanctimony (followed by his politician era backpedal of that sanctimony) was pure Twitter-before-Twitter. It sort of reflects MM's ultra hard edged social commentary - seen best...

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Well it was nice to have seen ya back on the big screen again, Max. You may have been relegated to a supporting role or barely even noticed - in your own franchise - but sorry to see you run out of guzzolene nevertheless.🙁:wave

My Luke army vs your Luke army - only cold cuts allowed as weapons.:bat2:

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Let's face it, despite (or perhaps because of) GM having the visionary genius label, he's had a bit of a knack for colossally bombing (critically and commercially) on follow-ups to hits - Thunderdome, Babe 2, Happy Feet 2... so Furiosa bombing after FR's critical/commercial success actually...

    Hot Toys C-3PO (ROTJ)

Yeah I said a few weeks ago it looks like a 6" scale Hasbro BS figure (perhaps even a 4" scale fig) blown up to 1/6 scale. Shocking for such an expensive release. At least give it some real fur on the head and neck.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Yeah that release to me was more like a vehicle - along the lines of what Jazz/Joost had done for years - with a no-sculpt figure included. With the team he's assembled for this it'll be cool to see how his eye for quality translates to figures. I'm sure to him it may seem like a pretty simple...

Mars Toys - 1/6 Jaws Figures

Such a great story and beautiful connection to your friend but now I'd take that boat out on the ocean, load the back with fish meat ensuring some blood trails out the back, set it adrift, and film what happens in the next 30 minutes. Even better lay a NECA Quint at the back of the boat...
