Who Blackpool?

I preordered a SS Exclusive Ancient Pred form Who Blackpool around a month ago. Cathy who answers my emails insists they will be in any day now. I was wondering has anyone else have a preorder there? Also, weren't these released a while ago? Could it be they haven't received their's yet?

Hmm. I am surprised they had them. This was a Sideshow Exclusive. When did you pre-order this? These came out back in March of 2007.

Matbe they put up the wrong product and meant to put up the Predator 2: Elder Predator?

Either way, something seems amiss.

...nearly replied to the thread earlier when I checked out the dealer.

Never heard of 'em, that doesn't mean to say, of course, that they are anything less than legit, but I must say this smells a litle "fishy".

Did you pay anything for the pre-order, I assume you did?

I ordered it on December 23rd it was confirmed by them and paid with PayPal. It came to a little over $200- shipped. I have gotten emails from them saying they will be in at any time and shipped out to me directly. I did email them and they confirmed it was the Sideshow exclusive Ancient. They have answered both my emails and I get newsletters from them all the time. They seem like a legit business as they have people from Dr Who there to sign all the time. When I ordered it the SS Ancient was pictured then they took it down around 2 weeks later. But that page still states it's Hot Toys Ancient Predator Elder 14" Fully Poseable Model Kit.

My suggestion is to ask them to refund your money. Then, once they have it "in hand" notify you and you can make the payment for it. If they don't want to do that, then file a claim with Pay Pal before it's to late to file.

Thats what I decided to do. And anyhow there's one for sale here cheaper that I PM'd the guy about. So we'll see what happens.

The guy who runs it Dave is a regular on Outpost gallifrey.

Check over there if you are having no joy. I'm only down the road so will be happy to bob in a 'ask politely' where your stuff is.

It worked wonders for Proto's Human Spike....

Edit: I also joined Outpost Gallifrey and PM'ed Dave at Who Blackpool...thanks for the heads up!

The situation has been resolved...not entirely to my liking. WhoBlackpool refunded my money minus about $37. I emailed them to ask why they shorted me and told me that they are under new management and they were only authorized to refund this amount. Also, that any orders before March were no longer their responsibility. So just a warning Freaks...if you order from them be careful and cover your a$$es.

dang! you got lucky to get some back. NEVER pre-order with Paypal, unless you're willing to make a claim after 30 days in case the business doesn't follow through.
