I was one of the early defenders of this figure, but man, that sculpt is just terrible. And that jacket... :monkey4

I'm eating crow like a mother____er right now.

Gotta say that I'm not all that impressed. Sculpt still doesn't look like Harrison, IMO, and that neck looks way too thick. I'm wondering if it's just the angle on some of these photos. I was willing to let the sculpt slide on this figure, but it's just not wowing me. Not what I expected from HT at all given how everyone has seemed to put this company up on a pedestal. The best pic of him to me is the one without his jacket on and I do like the map room outfit. But I could do without the hatless head.

As a collector who pulls right out of the box and displays, I don't think this figure is worth the price point.

Well, I feel a tiny bit better about the headsculpt--I think it looks better in some of those shots but not perfect.

Hat is still terrible. And you guys are right--he looks way too buff.

Interesting they say "interchangeable hairstyles" which may mean that you take off his hair to get his hat on.

Looks good enough to warrant a pre-order, then I'll watch and wait. HT often makes good improvements.

Man... having been a 1/6 collector for years and in the past two years only really focused on Indy stuff.. I gotta say this is just a huge let down... if I do buy the whole thing I will end up selling off a bunch of it... not sure what I am most disappointed with, the head, the fedora or the jacket... all three are failures... for a company with as much 1/6 clout as HT to fumble such a potentially hot release is really lame... I mean geesh.. you could at least get the freakin' fedora right... it's Indiana Jones !?!?!? how can you do a high end Indy figure and jack up his fedora for cryin out loud....

the reason why he looks too buff, is b/c from the looks of it, it looks like the Wolverine/Comedian/Dastan/Royce body. I think the figure as a whole looks great. I'm not the biggest Indy fan though I really enjoyed the movies so to me this is the best iteration of him in figure form.

but if I knew all about the jacket, and other things I've read ppl talk about I'm sure I'd be upset about certain things as well.

ignorance is bliss indeed

That hat is fantastic I don't know what everyone is talking about. There is also just something off with the sculpt. I can't pinpoint it either. I thought they were going to make revisions? I bet they shrink the head to make the hat fit and keep the face. Yeah, that will be their modification to the head sculpt.
