Nanjin has always been firm about every Berman-era series getting a full crew. I agree it's odd we haven't seen any other teasers yet, but he's probably just busy with the thousand other characters he's making.
Yup it seems to me the only ones being offended by this stuff are the ones looking to be offended. Or who see something sinister behind the simplest offhand comment in a movie or TV show, or just by the mere presence of a trans/non binary person in something.
Somehow I completely passed by the original films as a kid in 80s, I suppose because I was more into the scifi with aliens and spaceships than the post-apocalyptic stuff. I tried watching them later but could never get into it.

Damn that does look quite good, and so much more iconic. And it would have been such a breath of fresh air after all the overdesigned superhero suits we've been getting the last 20 years. All you really need is just a bit of texture so the suit holds up on screen and doesn't look like cheap spandex.
Maybe, but I'd still want a flight pole so I could have him in some acrobatic jumping pose if I wanted. Like those bases they provide with Spidey figures.
