I'm definitely getting the Lucius Malfoy figure. The sculpt looks really well done. I wasn't able to make it to NYCC this year, but my friend snapped some pictures for me. This is the best I have, in case anyone wants to see him closer up.
I live in Denton, and if it weren't dead week at my university (not to mention sleeting outside), I would probably be driving down to that store this weekend. Do you think if you go by there sometime you could let me know what the prices are/if they are any left/which LCS it is? [I do apologize...
It would be rude to post spoilers in case someone else who has yet to see The Dark World looks through it. Also, I've seen the movie 3 times now and am still not entirely sure how to write out the last few scenes when posed with the question "what happened?". It's hard to tell really happened...
Well, what I see as the obvious answer (and I may be wrong) is that the Mandarin figure isn't nearly as popular as TDW Loki will be. Because Hot Toys can charge ridiculous amounts and still sell them like hot cakes, they most likely will. That's business.
I think it would be fantastic to see Loki with a throne, but that sort of "accessory" seems like a piece in itself, and would most likely cost wayyy more than I could afford. I'm putting my hope into a prison outfit [including the slippers c;] and revamped armor/leather costume.
... I'm not sure what to make of that information. But thank you, now I feel slightly less pathetic.
In any case, the Avengers Loki sculpt was perfection and I hope the same holds true for the Dark World version.
I am slightly ashamed to admit this, but as someone who has spent way, way too much time looking at HQ pictures of Tom Hiddleston, I can tell you the sculpt is spot on. The only facial features the sculpt changed were:
The absence of 3 small freckles that are about 1cm away from his lips (right...
This is definitely the Thor I'm going to get. The arms with the sleeveless version just looks a little off to me. The sculpt on both is absolutely fantastic, though. I think HT finally made a decent looking Chris Hemsworth sculpt. I'm not too in love with the hair, but that's something I always...

Haha, true. But that isn't a small package, that's nothing at all! xD Looks like a girl wearing tights from the waist down.

I think the suit looks phenomenal overall. However, one of the first things that came to mind was why does Spidey have a completely flat crotch? It just looks odd, especially when he's unmasked.
I have a bad feeling that the armor/costume will be almost identical to Avengers Loki, but I *need* TDW Loki in my life. Though based on the sheer number of crazy Loki fangirls there are, I'm guessing he will be more expensive than the others once again. Easy profit.
