I finally have a Willard figure to go with Kurtz, Kilgore and Photojournalist. :D
I replaced the body, added his sidearm, plus a rolled poncho and dyed the neckerchief and painted the watchstrap black. Needs weathering next. Might even add a tiny band aid. :)

The "noodle" shirt with the swirly purple stripes

...and finally, a maroon shirt (where only the collar is visible), in the "escape" scene.
I was looking into what extra bits I would need to find, to make a "beach scene" Willard. So far, I have come up with:

I was expecting to see a Japanese "World War Zero" figure to appear shortly after the Russian one, They look well made and it's good to see something different, but they are not ones I am interested in collecting.
The "Invaders" description on one but not the other, is amusing.
I did see some replica 7 button jackets... but call me a cynic, I would like to see a period reference/photo of a 7 button infantry jacket. Reenactors very occasionally get it wrong. :lol

Not sure about the 7 buttons on the shell jacket, as I can't find any period pics or references to state issued jackets with less than 8 buttons.
