Also I feel like the sculpt on this is better than any of the proto sculpts Mars was showing.

I’m betting this will come out way sooner than Mars’ version will. Mars has never even put up their version of Penguin despite getting all pissy at Eternal for releasing one.

Well and also while they’re a bit dated and imperfect I do have the trio from QMX. As much as I want the rest of the crew those are the ones I want most. I wouldn’t mind finishing the Mirror crew myself. At least with Kirk and Uhura.

I feel like TNG is going to be the big seller at this point. I think VOY, DS9, ENT have fans but a smaller base. TOS I would think is still popular but as time passes that may dwindle more and more.

It’s super hard to see the details on the ring but I think mine as advertised. It’s shiny versus more matte. The inscription I have a hard time seeing but if I take a picture and magnify it I think I see it.

I kind of feel like we’ll be waiting a while for any TOS (including movies) versions of characters. Seems like we’ll continue to get stuff like Mirror versions of characters and secondary characters like Saavik and Kruge.

I wonder why Ro isn’t on that list.

Eyes are an issue for sure. Not expressive in the right way for what they’re going for. Also the shape of the eyebrows and mouth seem off when comparing against the screen grabs. Also the cutouts for the eyes on the masks don’t look wide enough/aren’t the right shape and on the right side...

Kinda crazy.. all those sculpts and I agree that none are that fitting of the character. Also Mars needs to get on actually releasing figures they’ve announced instead of adding more and more to the pile. They do well when they actually release figures but are pretty slow.

Yeah, unfortunately FlyAndFlight passed away sometime last year. A couple of posters in one of the Star Trek threads talked to him outside of the message board and were told by his wife that he had passed.

Hot Toys also hasn’t made many figures based on younger characters. I think Padawan Ahsoka is really the first one.

I mean ideally I’d agree with this for all exclusives. Hate the queue system and how it’s such a crapshoot. I got lucky twice yesterday and got both this and the Imperial Commando. Really was surprised I got both.

To be fair though it also makes sense to be an exclusive. It’s not a main look for the character and a one off outfit. I’m keeping mine most likely. I think he looks cool.

Mine is already pre-ordered and fully paid off. It’s not perfect but I want a Mace Windu so I have to have it.
