InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I think that looks pretty good, certainly a high quality presentation all around. Granted, it does look a little "pretty", I get that, but I wouldn't mind having that as a representation of the character.

Some people just don't get along.

Beyond Thunderdome gets a bad rap. It's not anywhere as good as it should be but it still feels aesthetically in line with MM2.

    It's Hardy's long-time stuntman, Jacob Tomuri apparently.

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Agreed. It certainly did feel completely alien compared to the original trilogy, which I prefer. I think so much of that otherworldly look and feel came as a result of color timing and post production trickery. Still, Gibson's weathered face would have been a sight to behold. He could have done...

Nobody does unhinged like Mel Gibson.

Fury Road would have had been so much more impactful if Gibson had returned. End of story. As a side note, I still think some of the performances in that movie are horribly acted (including Charlize's "redemption" line. Just cringey).

Andy Serkis LORD OF THE RINGS: LET THERE BE CARNAGE 2026

I can't see Viggo coming back at this point. The lost adventures and the Hunt for Gollum story would have been a great spinoff too, but I honestly think Mortensen has the integrity to pass on this. He already outright stated that Jackson got carried away with special effects on the original...

I'm curious if Miller will a)actually get to make his Max prequel, and b) if Hardy will be back or will it be recast again.

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Not interested in the slightest, but introducing a new Superman... putting on his boots? Seriously?

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

Although I read very few of the Expanded Universe books and comics back in the 90s, I do remember enjoying the cover art along with the sheer number of of releases.

    Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

Makes sense from that standpoint. I know the yellow suit has it's loyal fans. I just prefer Logan in casual clothes. Seems more his style. Like the scene shown in the trailer, in the bar. That's what I'd prefer.

    Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

I'm curious to see if they address the suit. It still seems so out of place.

Who's been a member here long enough to remember 'why you deserve?' What are some fun

One of my early memories of the board was the initial tease of Sideshow's original Indy figure. The lead up to that was pretty exciting. Pre-crystal skull...

What figure do you regret passing on the most?

Those Blitzway GB's for sure. That's okay though. A lot of custom heads, especially ones that were painted by the artists, from ages ago. The Daniel Craig Casino Royale sculpt that was sculpted and painted by Feng Studios (I think) many years ago before it got recast for a TTL Gestapo figure.

    Hello from Onesixthkit

Any chance of ordering just the body @Kit Chen ?

    The Short Round Project

Agreed. There are several pieces in my collection from @Spenser, whether its the Kurt Russell "Carpenter trio", or several one-off commission customs, I'm glad I have them. I never got to pick up the Indiana Jones sculpt he offered many years ago. It's great to see the evolution of his art, and...

Sideshow: The Clint Eastwood Legacy Collection (1:6 figures)

Sadly, I had that Redman Will Munny on pre-order for what seems like years. This was before Sideshow got the license obviously. I figured that Redman figure would never see the light of day. Apparently its out now.
