Hey, I just got finished making a fun custom, a female a$$kicker I named MAJOR BABE , (See my customs thread to see more of her...)
and after a phone conversation with DarkArtist Josh, I thought I might have some fun and issue a challenge to you other Customs makers here....
CAN YOU MAKE A BADA$$ Female figure custom, in one month?
Using parts you have, heads you can get, or alter, and parts, ANY CATEGORY, ERA, SETTING...NO LIMITS????
Can you?
Are you up for a cool custom challenge?
I need to make a villain for my Major Babe figure anyway, and Josh wants to try his hand at custom making a female character, so we thought, offer up a challenge of sorts, no winners, just a fun gathering of customs experimentation, and come up with some fun entries by June 30th.
It's really only a matter of cobbling up parts anyway, and some of you have WAY more than you need for a figure like this.
THere is no competition in it, no winners or losers, only the fun of making some cool customs and showing them here for all to see.
Give it some thought, and post ideas or suggestions here.
Only thing is, keep your figure a total secret until reveal day. You can team up with another artist to make your's just try to keep it off the boards until the 30th.
Then, when everyone gets a look at the entries, maybe we can come up with some followup to it all. And, make this kind of thing a regular occurance, with different themes and whatnot. Make our figure customs vary.
But, the goal should be to have fun and share. We can even spill the beans about how we made them, and show works in progress if possible.
By the way, on another website, this is how I came up with my 1939 style Batman, and Mr. Freeze and others. All due to the fun of a communal free figure challenge.
Again, think about it, those of you with a creative bent, and let us know your thoughts. And don't be intimidated by other's, or what they may do, just join in the fun and create something we can all share in.
As for me, I know I am making one. So is Josh.
