What scale is the NECA Bobblehead? Will it fit properly on a 12" figure body?

That's what I was afraid of. I'm trying to replace my Sideshow Myers head. Are there any good 1/6 Myers heads out there?

The only other thing I can do is try to resculpt the mask a bit.

DarkArtist has done some fine, inspirational work, but being a customizer myself, I have to tackle it on my own. Ego thing and all.

Well, resculpt is already in progress. I may view his work for more inspiration though. I'll post pics of my WIP soon.

If anybody has any great Myers reference pics though, by all means post them here for me to look at while I do the resculpt.

That Myers head looks more like Shatner than any other Myers I've seen.

The truth is, it does ......... and it's a damn bobblehead. Go figure. I think the license holders of Halloween are jackasses, pure and simple. A fine team of idiots over at Halloween.

And now they are going to be all about Zombie's attrocity remake.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios is supposed to have a Michael Myers themed maze this year, but I'm betting it will not be the real Myers.

That's another thing I hate about Zombie's take. The mask never looked anything but like an old pieces of crap. Love his music. Hate his movies.

Rob Zombie raped my childhood Halloween.

Measure the head. If it is 1.5 to 1.75 inches from chin to hairline, then it'll be 1/6th for a male figure representing 6 feet to 7 feet scale. Roughly, a six foot male stands 8 head lengths tall and 2 head lengths wide... though, this is subject to change. Likewise a five foot female stands about 9 head lengths tall (about 1.25 inches from chin to hairline) for a figure about 5 feet 9.

I dont' actually have it, or I would already know if it would work. I didn't want to have to buy it if I didn't need to.

My resculpt of the Sideshow head is looking very good. I've got a more accurate Shatner brow going, and the eye holes are redone so it no longer looks like a scared little boy. Still need to redo the mouth and cheeks, and get some real hair to add to/replace the weird oldschool GI Joe stuff they used.

I think you really have to nail the mask just right. People are picky when it comes to Micheal. He's such a iconic figure that if you don't you don't, you'll get the Halloween 4,5,6 feeling. Wasn't a big fan of the re-make but at least he looked the part.

So, what's your verdict. Did I nail it or what?

Considering I was working with the Sideshow sculpt to begin with, I think I got pretty close to this:
