    1/6 3R/DID GM653 Benito Mussolini

Yeah that movie was soo entertaining and cool - would make an awesome figure as a Whitaker fan. But I agree, why stop there? When you've got Michael Jackson (with or without some 1/6 kids around him) and Hannibal Lecter on the shelf, the sky's the limit for real world and fictitious people.

Don't worry, the "members of evil socialist states who killed even more" shelf more than balances things out. :dunno:lol

1/6 Hot Toys -MMS 517- Episode VI ROTJ Luke Skywalker Collectible Figure (DELUXE VERSION)

Ironic given that while in a state of divine enthronement you don't need underwear. :dunno :lol

Mars Toys - 1/6 Jaws Figures

That Shark City Ozark guy (maker of maybe a half dozen different 1/6 scale Bruce sharks) is going to clean up if Mars does all of these figures. :lol

Also looks a bit too young - like Quint in his mid-30s rather than later 40s. What a moment this will be if they do all three. So many times I thought about going the custom route, even seeing if I could scale up the 8".

1/6 Hot Toys Stormtroopers Deluxe Version MMS514/515

Hmm, Justin says the white armor is more yellowy this time around vs the original V.1 being more bright white. Not exactly a positive - reminds me of the pee-yellow TFA HT R2D2 vs the bright white Deluxe HT R2.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

It's like Padme lived to be 90. Still holding a candle for that lil' mushroom topped urchin from Mos Espa who hated sand.

He should have told her that look wasn't gonna do anything for Travolta. :lol

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

Sculpt is super detailed and sort of cool looking but it doesn't really capture Sidious from the movie that well imo. He obviously does a lot of smiling, much of it maniacal, in ROTS but something about this choice that doesn't seem to capture it. Interesting that ROTJ Han is another one where...

Ah, PT names I always loved. So 1990s, so clearly connected to their related words, so above and beyond the very silliest in the OT.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi - 1/6th scale Darth Vader™ Figure

Hmm sorry, thought someone said it was a nylon so I had in mind that this was a "new generation" of jumpsuits. I don't have the fig and thought about getting just the suit to check it out but maybe it's same ol' pleather. Glad I weighed in here first. :lol Yeah it certainly looks quite flat -...

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi - 1/6th scale Darth Vader™ Figure

Have there been any side-by-side pics posted comparing the older pleather HT Vader bodysuits and this new style bodysuit? Seems to be a sort of sail-type fabric maybe. Besides the huge plus of getting rid of HT pleather deterioration, my one concern with pics I've seen of the new bodysuit up...

Hot Toys - General Grievous (teaser)

Does seem a little different to the SSC V2 but with it quite out of focus in the HT pic it's hard to really say for sure. Some sculpt elements do seem different (angle of the pictured figs is different though - this is taken from Justin's review.)

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Eh, Mel was an American kid, born and partly raised. He'd only moved to Australia a decade before making MM1. How he got a fully Aussie accent that fast always mystified me. He did high school and drama school then MM1.

To me Gibson wouldn't have fit in FR. I did really enjoy FR but it's really a whole other story universe to the Gibson MM films. FR almost feels like its set on another planet.
