If you're referring to the as yet unmade Mad Max: The Wasteland movie, I believe it takes place in the year before Fury Road.

    Looks good so far.

    Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

I'll be honest. I've always enjoyed DP. Ever since hunting down the original Toy Biz figure in the early 90s. I've gotten a kick out of the first two movies. As for Jackman, I am looking forward to seeing him as an apparently surlier bastard than ever before (fingers crossed). I'm actually kind...

Ah, yes, The Road. How the end of the world scenario would actually play out.

Agreed. Not in the same league at all. Another example of well delivered dialog being more than effective is Powers Booth's speech in the original Red Dawn about the start of WWIII. Good stuff. Honestly, I was ambivalent about Fury Road until I read about the making of book that came out a...

I kind of prefer leaving things, backstories, what have you, to the imagination. A well delivered piece of dialog from a talented actor often is more powerful than an entire spinoff movie centered on whatever event they're talking about. For instance, Quint's Indianapolis speech does not need a...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I think that looks pretty good, certainly a high quality presentation all around. Granted, it does look a little "pretty", I get that, but I wouldn't mind having that as a representation of the character.

Beyond Thunderdome gets a bad rap. It's not anywhere as good as it should be but it still feels aesthetically in line with MM2.

    It's Hardy's long-time stuntman, Jacob Tomuri apparently.

Agreed. It certainly did feel completely alien compared to the original trilogy, which I prefer. I think so much of that otherworldly look and feel came as a result of color timing and post production trickery. Still, Gibson's weathered face would have been a sight to behold. He could have done...
