    Hot Toys C-3PO (ROTJ)

Got mine. I think the head is ever so slightly underscaled and I certainly would have preferred an ANH or ESB look. But those are honestly very minor nitpicks. I've been waiting for a 3P0 for years, and I am very happy with how this turned out. The weathering is much less pronounced in person...

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

I think people would lose their minds for a Mara Jade.

I've always liked that sculpt. It doesn't look like Mark Hamill much at all, but it still felt like ANH Luke to me.

Time. It costs time. It's the same reason why InArt rooted figures are so expensive. I personally don't like the look, and don't think the added cost is worth it to me, and so I always get the sculpted versions instead. But it costs a lot in payroll to have all that hair rooted into place. It...

I probably pre-ordered him within an hour of it going up.

Yeah, I'm looking at the original in-hand right now, and I don't think it's the same sculpt.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I've had both my DX07s out on display since I got them (11 or 12 years now?) and have never had any issues. But I live in the midwest and it's pretty temperate.

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

Yeah, that's essentially what it was. The story featured Luke turning to the dark side, so the artist literally just slapped pieces of Vader's outfit on top of Luke's RotJ look.

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

The sculpt is what is really interesting to me. This feels like a cheep re-hash for a quick exclusive, and yet that is an entirely new sculpt. Why not use the most recent (and very good) ESB/Mando sculpt? It honestly looks more like an ANH era Luke. I wonder if there is a new farmboy Luke on the...

Wow. As someone who grew up with that book cover burned into their memory, this is a very interesting release.

    Hot Toys C-3PO (ROTJ)

I've been very (im)patiently waiting for this. Very glad to finally get that email. And they are charging Thursday, May 2nd.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

I know a lot of people have moved into the "nitpicking phase," but I think this continues to look incredible and cannot wait to get it.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

It's not just that Justin uses lights that are too heavy, it's that he also lights everything from below as well. Do you want a person to look absolutely terrible on film or video? Light them from below. This is why people use reflectors; they allow you to lighten up the shadows on a person's...

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

I should clarify, my main point is that I think it's much much easier to hide things in photographs.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Photographer here, and yes, photos absolutely lie and distort reality. Using a different lens, or even slightly adjusting the angle or perspective of a subject can lead to wildly different looking photos. Bad lighting absolutely can change the look of a subject. Photo editing is not the same...
