Issues with the outfit notwithstanding, the more I look at this, the more it seems to be the best sixth scale Luke ever released. The likeness in some photos is pretty amazing.

i guess that why this set was divided some had the one from the dx07 and some never got the dx07.
I would love to pick up one of these heads parted out, but not for the ridiculous prices they are selling for. $60 and up is a bit much.
It's not like it's a functional head, it's just an accessory that lays there.
I think he meant the DX07 vs DX25 Vader helmet Luke heads - the Luke face paint on the DX25 Vader helmet doesn't look all that different to the DX07 from what I've seen so far.

Luke is in the mail for me, I’m excited to have him with r2 as well.

I just unboxed mine. Great figure.
I wasn't sure I needed this. I was pretty happy with my DX07. I was wrong. This is a nice upgrade. The new sculpt is fantastic.
Here is a comparison with the DX07 using the HT Snowspeeder Luke sculpt. The only thing I might do is swap the boots and possibly weather the outfit a bit.

The sculpt is the same but the paint apps are better.
As others have said this is a great figure. Definitely superior to the “clean” DX07.
My nits are obviously the too clean look of the suit but also that HT continues to not include relaxed hands with most of their figures. There should always be a set of relaxed hands, ALWAYS, with every figure.
The other thing I noticed in hand is that the sculpt‘s expression isn’t quite right to me. He appears to have more of a happy, to slightly amused expression rather than concerned or intent.
Overall a wonderful upgrade to the DX07. Now bring on a battle damaged version!
