    Megalopolis (May 17, 2024)

Yup, great movie. If you can track it down it's definitely worth a watch. But bare in mind it's all character; no big Hollywood action stuff anywhere to be seen. As for Megalopolis, I believe I said I was hoping for it to be good, but there's clearly an undeniable amount of reviews that are...

    Godzilla Minus One - December 1, 2023

Not in the hospital (that was epic), when they're all running from Godzilla and Koichi happens to find her in the crowd. It'd be like going to downtown LA and looking for someone when chaos is everywhere - a one in a zillion chance. Minor gripe, but again, a bit too convenient for me.

    Godzilla Minus One - December 1, 2023

I watched this again last night and I have to say... it's now in my 10 ten all-time films (and I'm not even a Godzilla fan). It hits me like a truck every time. The characters and story are great, and then you get the bonus of some of the best large-scale blockbuster stuff as well. Near...

Hey Jaws, what's the supplemental stuff like, any good?

    Megalopolis (May 17, 2024)

I'm kind of in the boat with Jye, except I have seen all of Coppola's work including Apocalypse Now (multiple times of the different versions), and for me, I can live without them. Are they undeniable? Yes. But I don't really care for them. And like Jye, I love (or should I say "loved" -...

    Stellar Blade Collectibles

The demo is ass, but once you get past that intro area and level up the skills it's amazing.

    Megalopolis (May 17, 2024)

All the reviews, even ones that "like" it say the same things - it's mad, bonkers, crazy, frustrating, nonsensical, storylines that open and are never closed, inconsistent and bad acting, etc, etc. Ones that don't like it, also add things like, fingernails down a chalkboard, excruciating...

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Super rough, but something like this.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

I wonder how hard it would be to modify the left hand to hand the whip, so the right hand could hold the gun? Does it even come with the gun? I think I'll get that whip that cking got and try to do the above mod. Have the whip unwound, dangling on the ground, and tuck the bag around further...

Two words... Off book. No thanks (but happy to be proven wrong).

He's a killer actor. The real deal. Little known fact... he was up for The Joker in TDK against Heath.

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

That line bothers me. I know you guys all love Fury Road, but for me it was a one-dimensional, one-trick pony that was all flashing lights, zero substance, zero character, and no story. "Let's go here. Nah, we'll turn round and go back." Max's best line in the whole move...

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Thought that was good - not great, but it was the movie that opened my eyes to how amazing Pattinson is. Everything he did from there was all character driven roles.

    Megalopolis (May 17, 2024)

And two days before the premier there's multiple sexual harassment allegations toward Coppola on the set

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

There were a plethora of amazing Aussie films back then... before the dark times... before the downfall that is: Strictly Ballroom, Muriel's Wedding and Pricilla Queen of the Desert. Because they were so well received internationally, the idiot Australian film boards thought they were the only...

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'd never heard of it. I'd go a 7.5/10 as it was a bit rough around the edges, but the time flew by (something I can't say for most movies these days), and as you said, it got me from start to finish as well. And really good to see Neeson in an age-appropriate film.
