Yeah the CG was incredible in this... but ever since watching the behind the scenes of the previous trilogy I have a hard time not picturing a bunch of guys performing these scenes in mocap suits. 😄

I think this could have been a cool figure, but that atrocious sculpt just ruins it completely for me.

Happy for those who've been wanting this forever, but I honestly always found him way too cartoonishly over the top in that scene. And I didn't care for the rubbery looking makeup they put on him either.

Possibly. He's also said that he felt under a lot of pressure, perhaps from stepping into the shoes of such an iconic character. And they also had very different acting styles, with Hardy being a lot more experimental and unpredictable than Theron. Which is not to excuse his behavior of course...

Yeah I have to agree about Minority Report. Loved it at the time but tried rewatching recently and just could not get into it. Fortunately Cruise's other scifi movies War of the Worlds and Edge of Tomorrow still hold up as well as ever.

I admit the one action sequence they released online was kinda cool, so if the series has a ton of that it might be a decent watch. But I have a feeling it'll be just as light on action as most other Disney shows .

Yeah I know this is meant to have more story and be less of a pure chase movie like Fury Road... but 2 and a half hours still seems excessive for a Mad Max movie. As I don't care about the world THAT much. Lol

Yeah the biggest problem with rewatching Rise is having to endure James Franco, but you do at least have his girlfriend Freida Pinto to look at for a lot of those scenes. 😁
