1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

Yes. This character is the definition of a goofy ham and I think they do it justice. Nice looking figure.

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

I haven't read comics consistently in a long time, but my sense when I did was that both companies generally attempted to humanize villains, at least retroactively. Batman's rogue's gallery arguably has very few evil people since they are insane. Luthor, like many characters on this season of...

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

That '90s-ified Iron Man just staring in place was pretty damn funny. Such an eyesore of a suit and yeah, it was weird that those guys just stood around while the world was about to die. Even when the Sentinel humans were attacking we saw some street-level non mutants duking it out but I guess...

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

I'm not big on ending seasons on cliffhangers, but I enjoyed the episode and series as a whole. Looking forward from season 2, and I hope they keep the late '70s/early '80s costumes for everyone. I also want to see Was kind of comical how the last episode was a microcosm of the season as a...

Sugar (2024) Apple tv plus series

I had no idea Alan Arkin was Adam's father, but now it's so obvious since you mention it. I'm watching Succession now and saw he directed an episode I watched yesterday.

Spider-Man Noir (Nicholas Cage - Amazon Prime Video) Live Action.

I thought that character was great in the Spiderverse movies, but Cage is a bit long in the tooth to be playing a superhero. I see in the write-up that being an aging detective is part of the plot, so maybe they can make it work.

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

I like Gangs, but don't love it. Like you, I think the primary reason to watch is for Lewis's performance. It is masterful and iconic, and pulls the whole film up. Leo is good, but I think that's my general take on Dicaprio. He's a solid actor in everything, but doesn't typically stand out...

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

I always enjoyed Minority Report but haven't seen it in probably 15-20 years. Should revisit it. You make an interesting observation. I agree that based on your lists '87 has more absolute classics/masterpieces (Arizona, Robocop, Predator, Evil Dead 2, maybe Hellraiser on that list for me)...

    What are you listening to?

Stern has been a supporter of that band for awhile now. I think they are tremendous, and suffered from not being something record companies could easily package as falling within one category of music or another. Their distinctiveness hurt them, I think.

Mars Toys 1/6 Willy Wonka and Oompa Loompa set

After they had some initial significant success, it seems like they got way too optimistic with all the announcements. It will take years before they can get through the backlog of stuff they have already announced. Hopefully they can actually produce all of this, and keep it at a high quality...

    RIP Roger Corman

I have absolute respect for this man, who I didn't pay much attention to until recently. While his greatest contribution to film was the careers he propelled (Scorsese, Coppola, James Cameron, Ron Howard, Joe Dante, Jack Nicholson, Peter Fonda, Bruce Dern, Dick Miller of course), and he made...

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

I agree with a lot of Bravo's comments, but ultimately find myself where JYE is. Despite its flaws this is one of the best Marvel cartoons there has been, and wipes the floor with the bulk of contemporary MCU films and TV shows as well. But yes, there are inconsistencies, the comic was better...

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

I hate having to rush to watch something, but I've been getting spoilers in my news feed and Youtube so had to watch this when I woke up this morning before going to work. Having said that. . . *spoilers below* Thought this episode was great overall. I suppose it was inevitable that the...

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

I'm a Gunn fan, and think he is going to give DC the best chance to succeed critically with their new film universe. But at the same time, I acknowledge that he has had diminished returns. GOTG 2 wasn't nearly as exciting and interesting as GOTG 1. Same with Peacemaker. I enjoyed the heck...

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

We've gotta put a stop to the damn lines. If we don't, then our kids will have to deal with superhero costumes with even more lines. And where does it stop? At least he doesn't have pouches and leg belts, though.

    Furiosa (May 24, 2024)

Well damn. It's official. We just can't be friends anymore. I'll try to just remember the good times. . . I love Fury Road. Putting nostalgia goggles to the side, I feel it is up there with Road Warrior, even, in terms of being a great George Miller film. But I also have a sense that it...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

The Zartan Swamp Skiier set was about half off a few months back, but no longer. Not sure if that extended to anything else Joe-related.

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

Toyhax periodically puts things on sale but I don't know if there is a method or timeline associated with it. I think they typically only put certain items on sale.
