My usual go to as a minimum for any LOTR line is the three hunters, so I'd say that Gimli and Legolas are the essentials now that we have Aragorn. Frodo and Sam are good runners up, and so it's good to hear that they are planned.

I imagine that if the line does really well and there's a measurable demand for Boromir, they may reconsider a few years from now, so never say never.

Yeah, make a Thorin inArt that's literally MORE WANTED than FREAKING BOROMIR, said no one EVER. What da hell ?
I would. I hope they go through with Thorin.

And with InArt's prices I'd get Legolas and probably stop there. Thorin, Aragorn, Legolas probably 1,200$ +

Meanwhile - wish InArt would dribble out some production pictures. Something.

If they make Frodo, Sam and Legolas, that’s 5 Fellowship members completed. You mean to tell me they won’t do Boromir, Merry, Pippin and Gimli? Get outta here.

I would bet a Gimli and Boromir would be in the works over the next couple of years. Merry and Pippin seem like a long shot, though. Even Asmus had to be pushed pretty hard to do them and even then we only got bare-bones, stripped-down figures. It sucks, but those two don't seem like big sellers.

I think the only chance for Merry and Pippin is if Frodo, Sam and Legolas sell so well that they think it is worth their time to make them. In theory Frodo and Sam will have new bodies (not shared with the Potter kids) and new feet that have limited reuse abity so that may help with getting Merry and Pippin. The hands and Lothlorien cloaks would also be reuse. . . One can hold onto hope even if it is a fool’s hope.

This is what I'm hoping. Besides the headsculpt -- which I'm aware is the most difficult/costly part, lol -- so much of what they need for Merry & Pippin will already be done by virtue of making Frodo & Sam. If the demand is there... well, we'll see.

(And if they give it to us, I hope everyone knows what we have to do: InArt Treebeard when?)

And people will expect some kind of reduced price because the Hobbits are smaller (which actually means more work)... and then people will be 'shocked' by the price of Merry and Pippin... and then people will complain they didn't get Boromir... on and on...

There's no way to win with the Hobbits. In the end, they simply won't sell well. They never do. I've seen this happen for the last 20 years.

It's good they're doing Frodo and Sam because that will likely be the end of the line. I just hope they get to Gimli before it all ends.

Also wonder what happened to that Nazgul that was teased over 2 years ago...?

Legolas and Gimli from Asmus are pretty good actually. That is why I need IA Boromir as there isn't even a good Bean HS anywhere on the market...

I've never owned a 1/6 scale Boromir for that reason, definitely top of my wanted list for the Fellowship. However, an IA Legolas at the level of accurary of their Aragorn is still a very close second for me.

I was looking through some pictures...

This is my most anticipated 1/6 release. I'm so excited. But I also know it's going to be a long wait.
