The only flaw with this figure is the fact that he doesnt have shotgun slugs on his body and the blood is only on his armor

The blood looks ok but i wish they put slug entry blood stains

From what I've seen so far, the blood stains don't exactly match the hit locations in the movie, and the color doesn't look quite right either. Not bad, but not as good as it could with some touch up work. You're right about the wounds... for the sake of accuracy, those will need to be surgically added to the body. I'll use the movie for reference to add the wounds in the appropriate locations on the BD version, then reapply the blood in a color that hopefully matches the film. I'll just remove the blood from the BD's mouth. Then I can just swap out the heads, so my regular version P2 can use that cool new head sculpt anytime! :monkey5

The frakking arms are a beetch to get in. How do you snap it in? I don't remember Scar being this difficult to put together.

Try rubbing a little oil from the side of your nose (if you're lazy like me) or a tiny dab of dish detergent on the male ends of the posts to reduce friction and they should pop right in.

Anyone know how to put on his battledamaged arm??
Ive tried to figure out how to put it on but I cant, for the life of me, figure it out :rotfl

I thought it would be easy, maybe im just dumb :)

Fedex dropped it off today at 940am, took me roughly an hour and a half to put this bad boy together. The part that gave me the most trouble were the arms, but after those went in, everything else went on just fine.

Ah, my second Hot Toys figure (PD2, Elder) and I got Leon on the way in a few weeks as well. Hudson would be nice as an Aliens character as well as an Alien, but I wouldn't mind getting Jack Sparrow....maybe more that I can't remember at the moment :monkey1

Are there any other europeans here like me who have preordered it from sideshow? I received a message two weeks ago saying that they would charge my credit card but they still haven't...
Should I contact them?:confused::confused:

Well, after several delays, I finally got my Battle Damaged Predator 2. I haven't tried putting him together yet, but WOW this is an impressive amount of stuff! Love the alien skull and all the attention to detail that went with the functioning spear, med-kit and whatnot. I'm very excited to get my Elder now.

my BD arm was hard to attach as well. i took a dremel to it. i shaved off some extra plastic that was blocking the peg.

Alright, alright. Anyone get their armor to fit on snuggly? The lower bottom peg of the back does not want to go in since the fitting around the boddy is so tight.

These things look so cool, but my god, the sheer frustration of putting it together almost kills it. My hands are buurrrrinnnngggg and blleeeeeddddiinnnggg.

try using tweezers to fit the lower armor straps on the small peg. i assembled my battle damaged predator last night in about an hour. i struggled with the knee guards. the straps were unglued and i had to get the crazy glue out..

The body armor fit just fine for me, but the underoo's had the problem with the back peg. I was able to get one of them in, but didn't wanna risk tearing the other one like I did for my Elder.

Got mine today and assembled him in about an hour!!! Out of all the HT Predators he's by the far the easiest to put together. :chew

I don't care about the "accuracy" of the blood and everything, he's just one awesome figure and I love his additional accessories like the Alien skull and I was definitely WOWed by his Med-kit which could open and close!!!VERY IMPRESSIVE.

I do like the original's "clean" look but this one is definitely a great complementary piece on its own. I actually have him posed carrying the Alien and Human skulls like he just got finished hunting.

I am so scared to put this together...

The only figure I have ever assembled was Robocop, and I had a devil of a time putting the head on. I removed the tray for this Predator and almost pooped myself. I am afraid I am going to break something!

you can do it!!!:peace

I put my BD Predator together tonight, and it was actually somewhat easier than I expected, although I did approach it very carefully because of some of the things that I had read here. The kneepads would have been difficult without the tip about wrapping paper around the leg to prevent moving the mesh bodysuit around. Everything else went fine, except that his left arm snapped off in the middle. I wasn't even doing anything to it at the time, which makes me wonder if it didn't have some defective glue or something. I used some epoxy putty to repair it, so it should be about as good as new by tomorrow (which is when I'll post some real pictures). All in all, a very impressive figure.

How does the next gun attach to his leg, by the way? Oh, and how do you use his stand? I can't figure out a good place to put the metal tong things around his waist because of his armor.

for that thing that attachs to his leg, there is a small slit on the left one. its kinda hard to see (i think) since it matchs in with the design the guards have.
