1/4 Hot Toys QS07 Iron Man 3: Iron Man Mark XLII Collectible Figure

Thanks a lot for the info and the pic, @rocbolt. It would have been nice if HT made a clean armor. The isopropyl alcohol surely did work on your XLII there. Both 42 and 43 look awesome! As @rory mentioned in another thread, Mark 42,43, and 45 certainly have the best proportions in the 1/4 IMs...

1/4 Hot Toys QS07 Iron Man 3: Iron Man Mark XLII Collectible Figure

Have a couple of quick queries on Mark XLII. Hope someone would be able to help. As I understand, HT made QS007 and QS008. The Google search shows 3 listings. The 2nd and 3rd are OOS. The 1st one is still available; though, at a whooping $650! I'd like to know, if I need a clean armour, do I...

    What did I miss????

I stumbled upon this thread today. I used to frequent the forum and then finally made an account in 2010. I saw all these cool (and weird) handles and the best I could come up with was taking the first letter of the thing I was into at that time (Batman Black & White Statue Fan). Lol! Good old...

Queries about Hot Toys Mark I to VII

Thanks a lot for all the insight and pics, Rory! Really appreciate it. I am convinced that 1/4 is definitively an upgrade, and not just in size. I took a quick screen grab from the movie and compared it with Mark IV. The helmet does look like it can be bigger. Also, the girth of his chest and...

Queries about Hot Toys Mark I to VII

He looks amazing in those pics, Rory! I went through the respective threads for Mark III, IV, and the upcoming VI and read the comments. Some people do not feel that there is any enhancement, and that they just look like a blown up version of their 1/6 scale. The helmet was found to be...

Wow! Thank you for sharing! A larger scale just naturally makes the details pop-out so much better. The 1/4 looks compact and as if its jumped out of the movie!

Right. Do you have any of the 1/4 scale IM, Gipetto0812? Would you say that the overall proportions are better in 1/4 as compared to the 1/6 scale? I have heard discussions where folks have mentioned that 1/4s are just blown up 1/6s and that they could be better.

Queries about Hot Toys Mark I to VII

I do have an idea that Mark 1 was done in diecast. I was just wondering if they made a better version after that. A USB light up would actually be an upgrade. Thank you for your insight, Setra94. Thanks, Gipetto0812. Oh, okay. Back in the day, I had all the initial plastic ones, but never knew...

Queries about Hot Toys Mark I to VII

I am thinking of getting Hot Toys Mark I to VII. Would like to get some info from the folks who have idea about them. I saw the 2.0 version of Mark II, Mark III, and Mark VI. Saw pics and found that Mark II and III are taller than the original Diecast figures. However, didn't find any...

ENTERBAY 1:4 HD Masterpiece Series - The Dark Knight - Batman Full Specs and Pics

Hello Everyone! I am finally thinking of getting him. Would like to know if I should ask any specific questions from the seller regarding its overall condition, rubber, etc.? Can only make out so much from the pics. Also, those who already have him, did you see anything going bad in all these...

Will there be any Johnny Depp Hot Toys figures re-visit?

Thank you, pixeltwin! Heh... All of them! :) I just remembered that I also have Hot Toys Rango and Jun Planning's Victor (Corpse Bride). I wouldn't mind a Barnabas Collins and Mad Hatter (Medicom made two, didn't like either) too. Thanks a lot for your detailed and insightful reply, Gipetto...
