Hmm this kind of needs pers. Not the ****** old pers, i mean like the one that the 1/4 bale bats and 1/6 returns batman have. Either way id still probably only get it for the body and use the perfect EB cowlsculpts on it.

They have indeed ditched pers but not rolling eyes in general. The latest DX15 (sparrow) has that.

So u think they are sculpted and just painted like they are on the Bruce Wayne Bale head?
Technically they dropped the actual PERS method and went a different way and used EBs method where each eye is moved by sticks individually, which people call ERS. But they didn't change the method to improve the look, they changed it because the PERS method was very fragile and people kept breaking them.
It's still pretty much the same thing, just less fragile now.

Yeah, after the continuous trouble at WB I doubt theyd let him say anything before JL debuts, that would be devastating

Why didn't they make this in 1/6? The last two Batman Begins figures I opened from Hot Toys had crumbled ****ing ankle joints.

The sculpting on the cowl is about perfect. All three mouthpieces are perfect. Couldn't think of any others that you could ever need for him. The Bale sculpt is perfect. Captures him in a youthful look as in the movies when he was first starting to dawn the cape.
My only concern is the material on the suit looks a bit thick and because of it action poses are getting some strange folds at the legs and the dong hammock. That may be some futzing or cotton placement need like in the Enterbay Bats suit.
Love his offering though it's pretty fantastic.

this really looks great. Only thing I could see that is missing is interchangeable eye plates or PERS. some of those poses look funny when the eyes aren't even looking in the direction of the pose (left/right)
