Inspired by Dorgmal's work, i figured i'd start my own.

wanted to try for a near proper scale one, should be about 14"

lots to go, aswell as extending and bulking the limbs underneath :p

Wow and i thought the kit me and Dorgs made initially was big :lol

I look forward to seeing it come along :)

So far its looking like it should manage, i've padded one of the legs with a heap of foam and it seems to be working.
will wait till i've got the second leg sorted and see what its like then :D

I'm really amazed that Games Workshop hasn't release figures and toys based off their design.

They seem to be skilled at the best possible ways to not make money.

I've got a 3d printer, i took some models from the Space Marine game, cleaned them up and made them printable.

did some scaling work and had a crack :p

the legs are still not sitting right in that photo, they're just resting on each other as i've got no joints in the feet yet.

the shoulders are also just sitting on there.

Yeah, i was actually going to attemp to widen the hips and lengthen the thighs of it, but couldn't get that section apart.

i'm going to try and build some pegs into the boots and see how it goes before attempting to extend the sections of the legs, at the moment it looks like it should work.
