Grrr...beat me to it.

I have the info though!

Robin Deluxe Collector Figure

ROBIN 13-inch Deluxe Collector Figure

June 2007 - DC Direct - ROBIN 13" Deluxe Collector Figure

Robin, The Boy Wonder, is the newest addition to DC Direct's line of realistically proportioned, super-heroic 1:6 scale figures! This latest hero in the 1:6 scale figure line is the first of DC Direct's accurately scaled "teen" style figures, and has all the detail and articulation that collectors have come to expect.

The ROBIN 13" DELUXE COLLECTOR FIGURE comes clothed in an authentically detailed fabric costume, includes a display stand and is packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box with a fifth panel.

Advance-solicited; on sale February 6, 2008
Collector figure
$69.99 US

Sounds like a new body, hence the "accurately scaled teen style figure" reference in the solicit info (hey Jase, I just responded to your posting of this info at the MM board!).

Small internet! :monkey5

Yeah...looks like a new body (thinner at least, would like it a couple inches shorter at least) with the same old crappy cut joints in different areas.

Hope his shorts don't ride up into the hip joints like Martian Manhunter's. That could be considered kiddie porn.

Just so we're clear, it's a Deluxe Collector Figure of Robin, correct? :D

The head sculpt looks nice, but doesn't look like a teen to me.
Let me guess, "accurately scaled teen style figure" means it'll be 11" tall? :rotfl Maybe someday they'll make teen versions of all the Justice League so we can then have accurate 1/6 scale DC superheroes. ;)

I highlighted the information they left out of the final solicitation for this figure. The price is still a joke though, should be at least $10 cheaper.

WHY THE HELL IS HE 70 DOLLARS!!! I know the other's have mostly been around that range but come on!

My question is - how will he compare with Batgirl? Much shorter? Or the same height? I'd prefer the teens be the same size as the women, but I doubt that's gonna happen.

The exposed articulated leg joints look pretty good on this figure.

If only the line was 1/6 . . . .

Yeah, they moved the cut joint down further on the leg where it isn't as muscular so it isn't as noticeable but still bugs me.

So I just preordered Robin from Marc @ AlterEgo. Anybody else notice that the usual 20% discount has been changed to 15% for most new products?

This new body looks aesthetically much better, but again that 13" scale is a bummer.

And his lips look a bit overdone... like he just got collagen implants :lol
