I am tired and slightly hungover from all the celebrating.

Those were great seats Joni. I was in section 115. I'll see if I can edit my video of the final out and team celebrating to upload later.

Next up. Detroit.

2 champagne celebrations in 3 days? man...the A's are going to have to cut someone to pay for that, lol

.........Aaaand Bobby Valentine is gone.

Never really understood this hire in the first place. Just the wrong guy for the wrong team.

Seriously this is the best thing to happen to the Boston Red Sox in 2012. Valentine had no history of success in MLB. Lucchino went over the head of his GM and hired this guy because he was a "name". I think Cherington would have gone with Dale Sveum if it had been his choice. Hopefully they can work something out with Toronto and they can have John Farrell come in and be done with it since that seems to be what they want.

Aside from the worst season since 1965, Carl Beane the voice of Fenway Park died in May, and Johnny Pesky passed away. I'm ready to forget about 2012 and look forward to hitting Fort Myers in February.
