The only real difference I notice is the fact that the render had an armor plate on his quads, and the already mentioned scabbard on his side.
The renders looks a bit more majestic for the simple fact that it's angled to show Bruce from a closer and lower angle, while the production picture is taken from a higher angle and further from the statue.

I haven't been able to find any pictures of the finished prototype at the exact same angle as the early prototype but these two should at least demonstrate differences in the posture.

Yeh you can see the curviture of the ab line. The rendered pic is slightly outwards while final is inwards. From multiple angle shots there is a difference. Even on the latest render they released he is more postured up right but seemed to change it before print stage.

how swaa weeet if those swords came in metal!! Blackbolt has real silver.... mags had wires... Hawkeye metal arrow... thanos real life cosmic cube.............. sure it was...

batman is a statue well worth chucking something LEGIT in the mix!!

If you were up on a height like that you would generally be looking down? Probably meant to be displayed higher up

the more i look at it the more i'm not a fan of the cape. just doesn't flow very well or even attach to his shoulders in a realistic way. i hope they change it slightly for the production pieces.

The way the cape sits on the traps is what bothers me the most, too. That kind of bulge. On the render it lays flat, and it adds to the heroic shape of the torso, with the curve of the abs mentionned by frenchyoutoo.

In the end I must say I am not as big a fan of the statue as I thought I would. It doesn't work as well as the 3D model for me.

My feelings as well. I'm not sure if they changed things because of feedback from fans or the people over at DC comics, or maybe it was necessary to balance the statue, but the dynamic has changed.

Not everything translates from paper to actual product 100%, 100% of the time.

I personally don't see a cape issue.
