It's a repaint, but the lighting highlights the sculpt work best of anything yet.

They're from some guy's, Tommy Richardson, blog.

:rotfl I love the shot of him hanging upside down. :rotfl

Not for HT, but I thought it was an interesting look into the whole likeness debate. Saw this on the website of the chap who built up the computer sculpt of the Jokers likeness using scans etc for use on both the 13" figure and the busts and statue.

How different does he look without his hair...:rotfl

I think the DCD statue came out with the best portrait, the face looks even better than the 13" figure.

By the way - you should send them an email about that and ask them to refund the difference. That's entirely legitimate and you'd be entitled to file a claim against them if they didn't do it.

Oh I'm definately going to be asking them to refund the difference...just gonna wait till they get here to do it.:p

Thanks Krayt, those pics also confirm sculpt quality for me, I really think it's the incorrect makeup pattern that hurts it. There's some makeup so you can't just see Ledger in it, but it's not the style of the film makeup, so it's hard to see his Joker in there too, but if you can kinda see through the paint, he's in there.

Original with no custom paint job.

Cons: the head is easily to pop out, when doing some extensive movement.

They told me last week that they would ship, I ordered on 7/5 and paid on 7/9. Why not be honest with the customer  I can be patient if a seller is upfront and lets me know of delays, but I have no sympathy when I am lied to.

Don't feel too bad. ABC Express is still trying to convince me that the BB suit has not been released yet.:banghead

LOL, I'd file that under the Pros category:D

Still haven't seen a remote likeness in any repaint or any angle.

Same. I had to cancel. Call me picky. It just ain't Heath's Joker.

Wonderful looking figure though, for what it is.

I think it's the best overall available, but the head is by far the weakest part of it. I'd like to see someone like Darren get a hold of one and resculpt it. Mine will have one of Les's heads on it. I don't buy the arguement that the Joker didn't look like Heath in the movie, because I see him in it.

Yeah, I just don't see Ledger in the sculpt at all... its a nice looking figure and the overall quality (even detail of the sculpt) is top-notch.

But, mine will definitely have one of Les' heads on it.
