WarMachine714's Collection: The Beginning of a Collection

Hey guys sorry for a late update but I went to San Diego Comic Con last Thursday. It was such a blast I was like a little kid in a huge candy shop lol. One day is simply not enough. I missed so many things like exclusives and booths. There's not enough time in one day. I hope I can plan this out soon for next year so I can enjoy it instead of rushing it



I got to try out Batman: Arkham Origins in both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Really loved the PS3 version. It's more opened world and it lets you feel like you have control to go anywhere. Objectives pop out so it keeps you busy. The Vita version was ok. Nothing exciting, to me at least haha



Went to the Xbox booth to try Killer Instinct. It was pretty fun you just got to learn the mechanics of the game but it's fast pace fun. You were able to try it with the fight stick they are going to take out. I couldn't get a pic of it

I didn't stop by a lot of collectible booths due to being more interested in the artist's booths, but I had to stop by the Sideshow booth. Soooo many amazing statues I just didn't know which one I love the most. But here are my top 5 from the booth that I simply must have. Sorry for the bad iPhone pics.









And my number one, I just must have. I love it so much. The expression, the pose, the weapon, the detail, everything about it.



The last event was go to the Batman: Arkham Origins show. It was nice to hear how the experience was for Roger Craig Smith (Batman) and Troy Baker (Joker). Geoff Johns also gave his thoughts on how an impact it is that comics are being made in video games. We also were the first to see the Copperhead trailer.

The main reason I needed to come: The artists! I'm such a huge fan of art. I love how every artist have their own version of each character. One will draw them with an angry expression, the other might draw them with longer mask ears than the other. Such so many visions on each piece of art.

I first stopped by the Alvin Lee table. My favorite artist of all. I asked him to sketch me an X-23 with her claws popping out. Came out so amazing.





The next artist I stopped by was Udon artist Long Vo. I love the way he uses copic markers. He colors and shades them. I asked him to draw me a X-Force Wolverine and a Cammy. Came it awesome just the way I wanted them







I really wanted a Deadpool sketch for my collection. So why not from Deadpool artist Marat Mychaels



After that, I stopped by Stan 'Artgerm' Lau. I brought my Poison Ivy base for him to sign it. He was the art designer for the Premium Format. I talked with him about the art print that I really wanted one lol. I bought a print and he sketched me an Ivy to go with my statue





Just one hour left till the show ended and I wanted another sketch. So I went to none other than Alvin Lee again and asked him if he would squeeze me in for another sketch. He accepted and drew me a badass Wolverine. This one was my favorite from the show. He just killed it with the expression!

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono was at the UDON booth for an hour. He was giving these Ultra Street Fighter IV poster and I got him to sign my SFIVs and SFxT copies

Batman: Arkham Origins print. You got it for playing both the Vita and PS3 versions of the game. I thought it was a cool gift. Really awesome
