Denny, I certainly appreciate the meaning and thought behind you and your artists choice, and I have faith it will turn out great and still be an instant buy, it just wasn't my personal choice for what Bateman would look like on my shelf, as I preferred a cold stare, something from both the posters and the majority of the film. I really hope you do release a second head sculpt, that would be a magnificent reason to pick up 2 full figures. use the screaming head for the clear raincoat, and the focused head for the suit and knife poster look

i agree didnt want the expression i thought the vote was going towards a slight smile but meh i just want a bateman hope he wont bo too expensive, i better start saving

This is gonna be a fun project to watch...

Not interested in getting Bateman, but this figure will be a grail for you Pat freaks.

I also think this release screams a DX option.

Yeah with two sculpts and an option to buy extra clothing we can actually have 2 looks! Paul Allen being axed... AND The promo movie poster!

Yeah Im sure it can be an option specially with the screaming head already having blood splatter on it.. the Raincoat too must have some... man this is going to be crazy! Im even more pumped on it than the secret project!

wow oh wow oh wow oh wow ...

i have to say, i'm loving your own sculptors denny, you've captured bale SO good. the expressions screams, but also the sculpt screams TOTALLY bale! the mouth, the nose, the intensity on the eyes, the face, my man, you've nailed it again.

maybe someone will read something behind my words, but let me say it, you won't need to do your projects with someone as a collaboration, you on your own are making much better sculpts etc.
even if it's a very first wip shot, i'm already in love with it.

and like elvis said, this screaming sculpt will set this apart of giving us an illusion of being another bruce wayne figure.

and take your time, as there are so many other projects coming from you, and we need also our time to get our money ready ^^

at the moment that has killed it for me a figure from a movie should look like a figure from a movie not off a promo poster.
why even vote if it dont matter.i mean isnt that iminime's thing let the fans decide.as for the 2 sculpts and extra clothing these figures are already more than hot toys figures with out the wow factor.
i will keep an eye on this thread but hope that we can pick what head and clothes we want and not have too get it all.

Be better if the second sculpt was the DX. The fullset should include all the clothing and accessories.

fully supporting this. i am more excited to see how the artist is looking the character and gives you a note this is iminimes work.
and i'm not understanding all those complains all the time either, everywhere i go, i'm reading complains. why can't we enjoy this hobby just like some time ago, were we loved every possibility to make our figures, that ht or any company haven't done?

i read complains that the sculpts are looking the same with the same neutral expressions all the time, now we're getting a screaming sculpt, and everyone complains about it, that we won't getting a neutral expression.

i'm loving that sculpt, because it looks different to everything else. it will pop out on your shelf like no other figure. why? because it's the only sculpt which will scream, and has a SPOT-ON likeness!

really enough with complains, and just enjoy the work of the artists here and enjoy the work from iminime and those characters we never would have expected from any company!

This character is our big challenge~

So it will take a lot more time, nothing is yet actually 100% confirmed.

We always try to listen voices from fans, but it doesn't mean we wil follow always the voice.

We need to be indenpendant, this open mouth is one of his unique face in that movie, that's our choice.

And we are thinking to make another expression after this,

We have many projects coming up, so please take care of your wallet ~~ ^^

Why we are doing so many projects? because our cost of maintaining our team is very big~ and small quantity of 50~70pcs cannot maintain our team actually. ^^
So..we do other works for making sculpt for other companies~

Anyway, this project will be big, I will check many suggestions on accessories(if we can make well)

when army posted that that was the head he wanted i was actually in agreement, but knew the overwhelming majority wanted something more neutral.

if the current sculpt is the one we get, i'm actually pretty excited for this project now... should look great on the shelf. i know it's all personal choice but i was worried the calm cold stare wouldn't be captured in a sculpt and it would just end up looking like another dude in a suit. denny, bring it on, i say

Who the hell is writing these rules? Why does a HS have to have an expression from a movie? Why can't it be from a promo pic?

I think if it captures the movie it is representing then why not go for it? Denny is making 2 HS too so that should squash that argument. That promo pic captures the movie a lot better than any single expression he makes in the movie. This of course is my opinion.

i agree - i think most people like the aspect of his character that hides his madness so well. i like it when he releases it - when you actually see the monster within. each to their own. but i respect denny's team for trying something different, challenging, and of their own volition.
