Playing with the thumb nail stuff. Not sure how this is gonna work, might be better than what it was. I am starting to think I might have to create thumb nails manually for each image. Hmmm.

I would think you can default all images to certain size and default resizing as needed for this view only.

I would think you can default all images to certain size and default resizing as needed for this view only.

So the way I have it setup now is that the width and the height cannot be more than 150 pixels for the thumbnail resize. In most cases that will give me uniform height, except for the images that are wider than they are taller. I will have uniform width but not height.

I tried to doing a more adaptive resizing but the problem with that is, depending on the image it might get cut off and look really bad.

I think how I am going to proceed now, since I can always change out the photos is go with thumb nails resizing so their width and height are not more than 150 pixels but keep the image ratio. I will probably switch out images that are wider than they are larger so they look decent and can always update images to better fit the thumbnail.

Ideally it would be nice to have a separate thumbnail for each image but I am not sure I would have the time right now to handle that. I think by moderating it myself I can maintain the images to have as close to a ratio as necessary so that all the thumbnails look pretty good.


But you are correct that I really only need the specific resizing for when viewing in the "glimpse" view or on the home page.

Haha and I up to approving over 200. I got it down to 150 the other night than BAM looked at it last night.

Seriously you guys rock. I got to do some stuff tonight but I plan on getting at least half approved by tomorrow night, if not more. Then there will be a deploy Friday night.
