It's doing good so far. First episode got 6+ million and now it's averaging about 4.5 million viewers per episode, which is great for THC. I think the only other big number show they have is Swamp People.

But regardless, if there is another season don't expect it to be an extension of the characters/stories from this one. From what I understand, the producers definitely want to do more seasons but with different viking characters/different stories. So it would be more like an anthology series as opposed to a serial.

which makes me think if they'll revisit The Manuscript of Ibn Fadlan, eaters of the dead/the 13th warrior.

I've already seen a guy from my town in it (playing a monk) and I know to look for one other guy also, a guy who by the look of him on a daily basis was born to play a Viking.

Would get it. :lecture

That is pretty cool well, hey they raided and then settled there in the ninth century so, they left their mark on the people but, the Irish were quite a match for them in battle, the Norse had a hard time with them.

I believe Dublin was founded originally by the Norse.

which makes me think if they'll revisit The Manuscript of Ibn Fadlan, eaters of the dead/the 13th warrior.

Egils Saga would be awesome but, i could see them going with the story of Erik the Red/Leif Ericson..no matter what, i would love to see this continue.

Episode 5 rocked! Can't wait for the next episode to see if Ragnar's challenge is accepted!

Just finished the "Raid" episode and it was great. This show is getting better by the week. I hope we get a showdown match this Sunday.

By the way, I hope Earl Haraldson's little slurper boy Svein gets a brutal death....

Awesome. What day does the show come on? I've caught up online and it's gotten better with every episode.

P.S. Siggy and Lagertha. :drool

^he's real, some if not most of his "adventures" are still disputed among historians and scholars.

as for the show, the pit of vipers reveal.lolz
they must be ending ragnar's series in this season if they plan to expand with other figures and start fresh every season. :dunno

Alright, well, is he also or more commonly known by those other names I listed? Yeah, from what I'm reading it seems like "Ragnar Lothbrok" is the same person as "Ragnar Lodbrok". Almost every search result that comes up when I type "Ragnar Lothbrok" is "Ragnar Lodbrok". So I'm not sure why they decided to change his name for this series...I'm sure I'm missing something.

That "pit of vipers" was a pit of harmless pythons. :lol

I absolutely love the theme song for this show. One of the best out there IMO.
