Hi all

I have just received my Manji back today from Ji Hun Park aka Y J Project.
I am so so so so pleased with how my bloody version Manji has turned out, I always knew it would be amazing but i just love it so much. I think this really adds to the original figure now as the character in the comics is forever slaying people and covered in blood.

I really want to say a massive thank you to Ji Hun Park for accepting my request to blood his piece of art work up for me and also a huge thank you to Zuno for making it all possible. I really hope you like the pics and look forward to your comments.

Amazing, so is it still a poseable figure, or is it more of a statue? Either way a very impressive piece!

That is an amazing piece of art, would it be rude to ask how much he was?

And what is the range of articultion like?

Hi Wookster

Thanks he is a piece of art isnt he!!!

Not rude to ask how much thats fine, Well to start with the figure was $1.135 but then i sent the figure back to Ji Hun Park who is based in Korea who then blooded Manji for a further $185. So all in all with p&p about $1400 this has cost me altogether. I tell you though it is worth every cent!!! The pictures really don't do it enough justice, in the flesh its astonishing!!!

Its range of articulation is fantastic, its on a Volks neo-guy body and i have found it to be so easy to pose.

The details on his arms and legs are amazing, i've not seen anything comparable to date!

Fantastic man and welcome!!!

Thanks Terminator, i havent seen anything thats like this either!

The flesh tones and vein work is just out of this world!!!

Ji Hun Park & Young Jae Park are genius it is as simple as that!!!

Are the 2 artists you mention just customizers or do they work for any particular company?

Ji Hun Park is just a customizer and Young Jae Park was also just a customizer however Young Jae Park has now gone over to head up Enterbay.

He is the sculpter for both Jack Bauer & David Palmer soon to be released and the Godfather - Marlon Brando

I still know somewhere that has three of these in stock.

If I knew what the character was and loved it, I would be all over it. Astounding detail.

Blade of the Immortal follows the deeds of Manji, a skilled samurai who has a decisive advantage: no wound can kill him, except for a rare poison. In the past, his criminal actions led to the death of 100 other samurai (including his sister's husband). He becomes immortal at the hand of a 800-year-old nun named Yaobikuni, and is compelled by the death of his sister to accept the quest that will end his agelessness. He has vowed to make amends by killing 1000 evil men, and until he does Manji will be kept alive by "sacred bloodworms" (血仙蟲, kessen-chū?), remarkable creatures that allow him to survive nearly any injury and reattach severed limbs even after hours of separation. They work by sacrificing themselves to seal the wound - they're worms that were bred to be as close in their chemical and physical make-up to humans as you can get without being human. They cannot handle regrowth on a large scale, but, for example, can reattach a severed limb or seal a hole in the brain.

Manji crosses paths with a young girl named Asano Rin and promises to help her avenge her parents, who were killed by a cadre of master swordsmen led by Anotsu Kagehisa. Anotsu killed Rin's father and his entire dōjō, making them a family of outcasts. Anotsu's quest is to gather other outcasts and form an extremely powerful new dojo, the Ittō-ryū (a school teaching any technique that wins, no matter how exotic or underhanded), and has started taking over and destroying other dojos.

In addition, another group calling itself the Mugai-ryū has emerged, in opposition to the Ittō-ryū. Its true leadership and motives are initially a mystery, but its methods (any tactics that leads to victory) resemble those of the Ittō-ryū. They try to enlist Manji's help as they seem to want the same thing. Eventually Manji joins but quickly pulls out after he finds out a member, Shira, is way too sadistic for his tastes. After a while Manji finally discovers that the Mugai-ryū work for the government. They are all death row inmates who are allowed to live only if they serve the shogunate . While Manji and Shira quickly grow to hate each other, after Shira runs off, Manji remains on friendly terms with the other members of the group.
