Just got mine in this morning. Id like to say I was totaly happy with the purchase but Id be lying. The figures were crammed in a small box, so the packegeing was totally destoyed. When I reached in to pull the figure out the hands and the extra neck joint just fell out. Luckyly the figures were dammeged but it was a real bummer cause I love Monkey Depot but this is my last order from them

To be fair to Monkey Depot, the TT package isn't sealed but held closed with button tabs. My TT was tightly packaged with lots of peanuts so there was no danger of mine falling open.

Heads up that War Toys has 6 in stock for $38. Not the best price but better than paying $50+ for it later on.

Yep, I ordered stuff from them recently on a Saturday and it arrived the following Tuesday. I've only ever bought loose stuff from them, but very reliable IMO.

Actually....last time I received Truetypes from Goodstufftogo, they arrived in the same condition you describe. There was a hole in the smashed box and the neck and hands were rolling around loose! Fortunately, everything was accounted for and nothing broken, so I didn't complain.
I am now holding out, hoping Hot Toys will release the new improved body with proper shoulders soon.

Yeah I guess it varies. But both are great sites Ive actually never had any issues with any of them till this morning. But its true Hot Toys packging is kinda weak with six snaps and four peices of tape, but Ive never had one open up for me like it arrived this morning. But its all good Ill see how my TT from goodstuff to go arrive.

And they're a little beefy for some characters.
When are they going to release the Slim Type already?
That slim version would be way better for Jack Sparrow. I have always hated the body they chose for Sparrow... so Un-depp.

Don't know if they will release the female body or the slim as a separate item, but I hope they do as they're both great for customs. For that matter It'd be great to see the muscular bodies released.

I remember that hot toy s DID say in a newsletter some months back ( shortly after the announcement of machiko) that they would be releasing the New female truetype individualy later on this year, around summer.
