Superman best statues?

I love the Alex Ross Superman & Lee/Kubert Batman. I think the looked the artist was going for was Jim Lee but the head shape and ears, eye position looks more like the Kubert design IMHO especially the Batsymbol.

Why can customizers give us perfect 3D examples in museum style poses yet the mainstream companies cannot come close?

I'm going to disagree with most on these forums. The "third party" stuff is nice, but overall I like the DCD stuff more. To my eye, the DCD stuff has a higher level of quality, at least the DCD pieces I have compared to the stuff I've seen in this thread.

The commission Bat & Supe are gorgeous. Very few DCD Superman look good IMO.

At retail, ~ $90 when they first came out. Joker has gone up, and Supes as well, to a lesser degree.
