I have a display table in my living room that will roughly fit this (just barely). It'll be perfect next to her China cabinet and our good furniture. She just doesn't know it yet .

look at the 1st pic with Batman in the background in the case, you can really see the size of this beast.

Hell, even in the 2nd pic as well

Right, i do understand that alot of you are much older than me and have kids.

That's why i suggested have an actual special room with a full door and a lock and have that as the gallery where you can display the collection.

I have a ton of collections too and I have a special room with a door and a lock to keep them safe when I have parties at my house.

Personally I don't really like the idea of a collection room. I feel like I would rarely go in just to look at my collection. I'd rather incorporate my collection with my entertainment center. My stuff is all boxed up and I'm in the process of looking for a new place and I'm trying to decide how to display everything. But I have a hard time paying for the square footage of an entire room just for collectibles when that also means I wouldn't get to see them as often. This Batmobile will be very tricky to incorporate in a display without either a dedicated collection room, or have it displayed in a useable piece of furniture (as others have already stated). I'm on the fence on this piece.

So it's confirmed that if you use the Vday code, you don't earn reward points with SSC?

I'm in the same boat as you. I have the code. I also have some reward points, though not much at all--only about $20.

Right. I want to be surrounded by my figures when I work so I've placed them in my office to keep me company. Sometimes I'll take a break and stare at them. Sometimes too long.

However, I don't have nearly as many as some do here, so space hasn't been an issue.........yet.

DiFabio, didn't you say you were wrapping up collecting once you got the 89 Batmobile? If so, I would use up the reward points. You won't miss the points you could've earned by paying in full because if this is really it for you, you've got nothing else to buy.

Yeah but the pre-orders for all of that stuff and TDKR stuff will be up before the 89 Batmobile ships. Earning reward points on the Batmobile won't help pay for the pre-order for any of that stuff because your points are pending until after the item ships to you.

Our Macy's in town is going out of business and they're liquidating all their assets including any displays, furnishings and fixtures. I bought a jewelry counter from them yesterday in anticipation for this batmobile.

No, no, you guys have it all wrong! You don't snap your fingers or rely on magic - that's silly! You literally have to make the room. Ty Pennington would have it done in a heartbeat; that sucker would tear down your whole ____ing house and rebuild it with a living room that looks like the Batcave and that has a spinning turntable dedicated to your 89 Batmobile! I personally am punching holes in my roof so that I can build ginormous dormers to house my new collectibles! You have to be creative!
