To go along with my Tusken Raider I started to make his Bantha...

Here it is, all finished! Ha, just joking... Started off with a wire armature made of left over electrical wire. This served mainly as a guide to build the horns so I could gauge the size of the horns. Used armature wire and cardboard tubing to make the shape of horns:

Then used plaster bandage over the cardboard "horns" to build a solid shape:

Then smoothed horns out with plaster and started making ridges:

Then made the wooden armature:

Made his feet out of Sculpey (they look much better in person):

With Sculpy face:

More to come...

My Tusken Raider says "Hurry up already, I got places to go, people to see!"

Looks very promising!

Such a big project to undertake... and I haven't even managed to make a real custom 1/6 figure yet! (unless you count the bounty hunter in my sig...)

Looking forward to seeing it done, looks absolutely fantastic!
