If you are in the US, keep checking Amazon (put the set in your shopping cart and leave it there, then just periodically check it). I have already seen all of the LOTR sets except for the Orc Forge (Target exclusive) discounted from a couple of dollars or more. I bought the smaller sets from the LEGO store in order to get a few Hulk minifigs, but picked up the Mines set ($68) and Helms Deep ($111) from Amazon. Free Prime shipping and no tax. That's tough to beat on a newly released set.

The only set I could find for a bit cheaper was the army set. I'm trying to save on the Helms Deep set, but so far can't find any bargins.

I picked up the Helms Deep for $111, then an hour later it went back to full price. Keep it in your shopping cart and just check on it every day or so.

got my orc forge yesterday. it might actually be my favorite (along with moria). love the orc smiths and the lurtz 'birthing pit' is too funny.

Come on UK Lego retailers!!
There's a lego store near me that I'm just waiting to purchase from. I could get some of the sets from ebay, but I love the fun of going into the store yourself and seeing it all on the shelves first.

I believe these LOTR sets are released only in the US for now and will be available in other countries subsequently at a later date. I can't find them at all at my local Lego retailers.

I guess I just have to wait...

I just went to the lego store at lunch.

These are soooo cute.

I love the black riders in this one.

Vampires castle I think this one is called. My favorite thing they had there.

I ended up buying two of them. This one because it's so sweet.

This one because it has Boromir and Gimili which look great.

I would like to get Helms deep. It's really sweet. 170 buck though.
