body is WAAAAY too tall for luke. as long as you don't care too much about scale, though it's fine. However, his clothing can be a little hard to get onto the body with some of his tighter fitting outfits.

if you want to fix lukes monkey arms, put him on a promethus body. it will take the same neck as a hot toys body, and Lukes clothes Fit the pro body like it was custom tailored for it.

All good things to know. I've never kit-bashed before or anything remotely like it. This'll be my first foray.

I went into the store today, it's less than a mile from my home, and I didn't even know it till this thread. I picked up a body, not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I'm sure I'll have a need coming up. When I went in there, there were still at least 10 on the pegs. The 2 guys were commenting on how many they were selling. It sounded like they had more in the back though, but I'm not sure.

It's a cool little store, mostly military, but a few SS and HT non-military items.

I paid ~$37 after tax.

Actually the Pro is much too tall for Luke also, and has a completely different type of neck joint.

Stupid question(s), what are the truetype bodies good for? Meaning, what can they be swapped out with to improve that figure? Can these be swapped with SS bodies (i.e. Buck)?

You're right, those are stupid questions.

The True Type body is a vast improvement over the buck, and nearly every other 1/6 out there. Articulation is second to none, and the bodies are solidly constructed, not loose joints or any of that crap. Wide shoulders is about the only complaint that can be made about the TT body.

And the body is capable of fitting pretty much any head type out there.

has anyone ever sanded down the shoulders with a dremel or something? are the shoulders pretty solid, or are they hollow?
