Is that Kane from some 80's porn version of Alien??? That isn't even close to a likeness...real shame that.
It also fills me with worry about how Dutch and co. will finally end up looking...

Damn someone got there before me. Its definitely John Holmes in a Nostromo spacesuit, ironically to get deepthroated by a facehugger!! :lol

Some people on other forums are canceling too. I'm keeping mine going with the hope that a better custom headsculpt will appear sometime. :monkey2

Does anyone know how much she charges to do a commission? One of us could probably provide her with a lose Kane headsculpt; she'd just need to re-work the face.

I think it would be about $200 for the rescullpt, mold making, and casting process.

Wow... Mind you several of us banded together to commission a Bishop headsculpt (I was one of them) and that turned out great. Maybe once the figure is in hand and we can look at it we'll know what we're dealing with and how big a job it'll be.

I'm much more disappointed with the facehugger's lack of attention than I am about the John Holmes sculpt.

That's exactly how I feel ! :monkey4
The normal head paint was directed by JC Hong. That's why it looks so great. And for the hugged head, looks like it was done by a totally different line.........:monkey2

I mean, it wouldn't be that much a person.

If you got 35 people to join, it would only be $40 including the $200 fee, and the individual head cast price. And I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a nice large amount of people to do that with.

Now, just out of curiosity, but how come the hugged head is missing the cap like thing on the un-hugged head?

I highly doubt that the hugger removed the cap thing before atatching it's self to Kane's face.

Thats actually a contradiction in the film itself. When they cut the helmet off, the "snoopy cap" is nowhere to be seen.

I didn't know John Holmes was in the movie Alien!:rotfl

Is anyone planning on making the correct head sculpt?

I must say I'm pretty disappointed as well. They may as well have given us the Dallas sculpt for Kane. Another case of Hot Toys raping us till it Hurts. :lol   :monkey2

They ought to allow people to back out of their pre-orders when they pull something this bad.
