It's been fun building Dexter, looking forward to seeing yours complete.

I'm thinking of finally sending my head off for painting, I think I'm going to give it to dtanwt, might send him my Walter white sculpt to do first as I'm still iffy about the eye decal technique he uses and I think that would be the best sculpt to send him as the eyes will be covered by the shades anyway.

hmmmm I never even heard of an eye decal. Probably the best eye job you'll get though. I got everything lined up, ss is shipping the muscle body next month.

Apparently it looks great inhand, but in the few pics that I have seen they don't look so good, maybe the decals don't picture well ..other then that his paintjobs look amazing, he manages to avoid that caked on look that so many custom sculpts suffer from.

Dark passenger had his Rainman dexter sculpt painted by him.

Looking back on it now the eyes do indeed look great on that locke sculpt.

Honestly I'm not a fan of the majority of the paint jobs on here, The only painters I have seen that could achieve hot toys level paint apps were denny kim and dtanwt,both of whom no longer take commissions.

I will gladly keep my heads unpainted until another painter of similar standard comes along, or if I can ever get my sculpts recast in flesh tone resin.

I'm having the same problem, but i've started losing faith . Xeno's work
is amazing so i should let it go along with the 2 pais of bat demon's glove i got
specially for it. Hope some1 would take and complete it, as it is meant to be.

I really love how the sculpt captures the expression that a certain Miami killer has.
But the clothes...they look so much like full scale.
I'm gonna be selfish and hope Kato doesn't get picked up by Hot Toys cause we are extremely lucky to have the best 1/6 tailor helping us on our customs.

Thx bunny. It's from witekite's kit that contains the syringe, the ID, and I think bags for body parts? It's been awhile since I got the kit.

I have got to say that I'm ____in impressed. Got my set from kato today and they look amazing. Top notch and worth every cent.
